Location: Chiostro di San Zeno - Verona (15 m)      by: Alvise Bonaldo
Area: Italy      Date: 2.6.2009
Ancient kloster of San Zeno's cathedral, in Verona. One of the most important masterpieces of romanic art in Italy, and perhaps in Europe too. Built in 9th century, reconstructed in 12th. In this kloster, the transition from romanic (round arches on the right) to gothic architecture (pointed arches on the left) is clear.

Could be a great pano, Alvise, but I'm afraid, the right bottom part ist just not there, unless it is some kind of big black stone.

@ Arne
You're right... but I'm too. This is really a GREAT DARK TOMBSTONE, an ancient sepulchre of some forgotten bishop... so I can't blank this detail, for it's present in this site. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. Ciao, Alvise.

Thanks for your explanation, Alvise. In that case it is just a four-star-pano for me.
