These thin mist banks appeared just before thick fog took over about an hour later and obscured the view completely. Quite an enchanting sight with the city lights lightening up the fog banks and the clear starry sky just above. The stars just left of the middle are from Canis Major with of course Sirius as the brightest.

Canon Eos M6 with EF-m 11-22 mm, 10 p RAW, 16 mm (25.6 mm KB), iso 320, f 7.1, 2.5 s, 3600 °K, PTguiPro 11015x3882, downsized 1419x500 468 KB JPEG

Do the following test:

1. make your 500 pixel height jpeg pano with sharpening
2. make a 1000 pixel height TIFF pano without sharpening
3. export from No. 2 a 1000 pixel height JPEG and lower the quality to the same file size as No. 1
Compare No. 1 with No.3. Which is the best? Clearly No.3

So why continue with 500 px while you can have a superior 1000 px height pano with the same file size?

Just a "Blade Runner" sight!

Good idea and well done.
Please label something else.
What are these sharply limited lights at 177°?

@Heinz, vergleich mal mit #26774, dort ebenfalls auf ca. 177° ... ;-)

@Heinz, if you mean the 5 red lights on the horizon: these are from wind wills in Belgium at about 18 km near Zelzate.

Danke, Arno, jetz erkenne, daß dort Wohnblocks sind. Über die dunklen Bereich hatte ich mich gewundert und konnte nichts mit ihnen anfangen.

thx Alvise, when I look to this pano on a big screen in a dark room, it is just magic. Impossible to bring this feeling on this site that only is obsessed with low quality mountain views.
