... reihen sich aneinander and are dominating the hardly lit hallways of the mosque. Stunning the rich details and the flair of the building. Strong the contrast to the light-flooded church resting in the middle of this unique sacral building.

The magnificence of this monument forms a nice contrast with my "Ruined mosque" of some weeks ago...
Looking with a statistical eye at the "rating rate", however, it does not seem that mosques are the most appreciated subject on this site!

Eine sehr bekannte und populäre Sehenswürdigkeit, wundert mich, dass dies hier nicht schon früher zu sehen war. Hervorragend dargestellt und die 200 anderen Besucher geschickt ausgeblendet...

Da werden Erinnerungen wach! Warst Du auch in Granada? Ich hoffe es, denn die Stadt am Fuße der Sierra Nevada war für mich der absolute Höhepunkt meines Andalusien-Aufenthalts. Ich bin aber auch so gespannt, was Du noch weiter von dort zeigst.

Selbstverständlich waren wir auch in Granada. Doch das Wetter war dort so greuslich, dass ich sicher noch einmal dort hin muss .... Wobei ... einen kurzen Moment ist es schön sonnig geworden, bei dem Bild sind aber noch ein paar Fehler drin - ihr dürft also gespannt sein :-)

Wenn ich dort auch nie hinkommen werde, weil viele andere Bergziele noch offen sind und ich nur einmal im Jahr verreisen kann (Solange wir mit unseren Tieren und Pflanzen so leben wie wir es uns rausgesucht haben) so finde ich das doch sehr eindrucksvoll. Herzliche Grüße Velten
