The high Quebrada Segya is one of the most solitary and magic places of the Huayhuash region. I reached it descending from Cerro Gran Vista (see N.26068), which is an easy but not elementary undertaking, but there should be a straightforward access from Huayllapa. A visit that nobody performs, except for the few who dare to cross the Rasac Punta, which will be the subject of some future work. This sunset can be seen camping on the shores (actually, in my case, on the moraine, in order to have drier conditions) of Laguna Caramarca. Surprisingly enough for these places, this is the only lake in the valley, while there are many more little lakes hidden is suspended side valleys. A thorough exploration of the latter would be, indeed, a completely new Huayhuash experience...
