Each year, Terneuzen holds its 'Havendagen' (Days of the Harbor) on a weekend, at the end of June. It is a fair but one can also do sightseeing with a helicopter - really impressive views from a few hundreds of meters height - or experience the river with super fast patrol boats or with historic coal and steam powered tugs. This year Volharding 1, DockYard V and Hercules from the Rotterdam museum were present.
