SOLVED RIDDLE.
There are many panos of San Gimignano, which is one of the best-known tourist towns in Tuscany.
With this riddle I wanted to demonstrate that from Certaldo Alto you can see San Gimignano, which is about 10 km away.
Certaldo Alto (High Certaldo) is the medieval part of Certaldo. It's not as famous as San Gimignano, but it's a beautiful town.
In Italy it is famous because, as Arno said, Boccaccio was born there. He is considered one of the fathers of Italian literature.

Comments

The towers are not high enough for San Gimignano, and above all there are not enough of them ;-) ... Giuseppe, I have no idea at the moment.

Definitely a very nice motif and an interesting riddle - maybe I'll try to solve it again this evening with a bit more time!

Tanti saluti, Hans-Jörg

Boccaccio seems to be well known in C......o (Alto). For good reason.

Congrats to Arno, with his help I found this morning the location too in the beautiful Tuscany ;-) !!

But the one to guess wasn't the one in the foreground, but the one in the background on the left and you, without realizing it, had already done so ;-)

Really amusing - my comment, and your answer - I think I was struck with blindness that day, that I hadn't noticed the "skyscrapers" on the left ... sometimes maybe it's better to be quiet :-)) !?!

I agree. Really very funny.
But there was a trick: I hid some "skyscrapers" behind the tree ;-)
