I still have a motif from the previous day, but to avoid showing something very similar again, I'll skip to the next day. From my pleasant accommodation on the beach in Paestum, I was drawn inland, and Google Maps is drawn to the smallest roads here if it means I can save a few seconds. So you get to know the area, even if the gravel roads up to the Rifugio Panormo would not have been necessary, as there is a fine tarmac road from Ottati. My old rented Fiat survived and I enjoyed a wonderful hike through dense beech forests in bright spring green. At the top you come out of the forest, but unfortunately it was misty. On the descent, I was compensated by a very varied path, past the deep karst holes of Vucculo dell'Arena.
