Eigentlich wollte ich das hier kommentarlos zur Lösung von Albertos Rätsel posten, jetzt hat er schon aufgelöst, und ich kann auch was dazu sagen. Hier der Blick auf die berühmte Gerberei von der anderen Seite. Hier wird noch weitgehend traditionell gearbeitet, mit Vogelmist zum Gerben (weiße Behälter links) und je nach Quelle natürlichen oder doch chemischen Farbstoffen zum Färben (rechts). Das Leder wird in Kleinstmanufaktur in der Altstadt verarbeitet und in Form von Schuhen und Taschen nicht nur an Touristen verkauft (sehr schön zum ganzen Prozess von Fell bis Schuh Folge 1 des Marokko-Spezials in der "Sendung mit der Maus", Ende 2023, in der ARD Mediathek). Ich stehe hier auf der Dachterrasse eines einschlägigen Geschäfts, in dem ich dann aber nichts gekauft habe, weil ich aus dem Urlaub grundsätzlich nur Bilder mitbringe und keine Gegenstände.

I actually wanted to post this here without any words as a solution to Alberto's riddle, but now he's already solved it and I can say something about it too. Here's the view of the famous tannery from the other side. The work here is still largely traditional, using bird manure for tanning (white pits at the left) and, depending on wom you ask, natural or chemical dyes for the colour (right). The leather is processed in small factories in the old town and sold in the form of shoes and bags, and not just to tourists. I'm standing here on the roof terrace of such a shop where I however didn't buy anything because as a matter of principle I only bring back pictures from my holidays and never any objects.
