Over the last few weeks, Jan Lindgaard had presented several new perspectives from the south faith of the incredibly huge Vatnajökull glacier. His pictures were characterised by typically gloomy cloud atmospheres. I liked them much. With his latest work, Jan seems to have arrived a step further west, which is why I don't want to miss the opportunity to contribute something from the archive here that helps to create the complete picture of the geographical situation.
Taken at late morning the day when we passed the Eastern Fjords up to Seydisfjördur.
