After a long journey from Seyðisfjörður, we arrived here at around 16. We stayed in nearby Seljavellir, and some small hills offered an OK view. Though the air was clear, heavy clouds obscured many parts of Vatnajökull. Later in the evening, the clouds scattered somewhat, and felt an immediate urge to get back to this viewpoint to see if Vatnajökull was visible. Though not fully free from clouds, it was certainly better than earlier, so I will show a 360 degrees pano, and a tele later. The light and landscape was breathtaking.
Pano made from 30 pics (RAW), 70-200mm@70mm, iso-400, f/5,6, 1/500 sec, developed in DPP (cloudy, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, scaling and sharpening in Irfanview.
