Vigabjarsfoss is one of the last, and most modest, in a series of waterfalls along the Jökullsá. Dettifoss is probably the most famous of the waterfalls. The water is meltingwater from the Vatnajökull glacier.
The site was however also a nice hikingarea, and proved to be quiet compared to many other attractions around Iceland.
