Cheers, Hans-Jörg
greetings
Since I myself was already on the Krivan, it was in 1970, but we could only look from above to the 500 m lower lake, I am particularly interested in this, also very well made panorama. The tour on the Krivan is probably one of the longest in the High Tatras, from Strebske Pleso 9 hours are indicated there and back.
I particularly like the fact that Konrad included the summit with the cross.
But I would also be interested to know where Konrad started, perhaps from Kasprovy Wierch?
Tri Studnicky is the closest starting point for the Krivan.
You are right that the longest tours are through these valleys.
But through one valley high above three passes - Prielom (2288m), Priecne sedlo (2352m) and Sedielko (2372m) - and through the other back, we have not made.
Our longest tour was probably from Lysá polana (1020m) through the Bielovodska dolina and the Litvorová kotliná up to the Polsky hreben (2200m) and through the Velicka dolina down to Starý Smokovec (1010m) - 1988 also together with our 10 years old son.
