Gestern bin ich nicht dazu gekommen, jetzt muss das Jahresendpano als Neujahrsgruß herhalten. Ein Rückblick im doppelten Sinne: Einerseits auf ein immer lebendiges und interessantes Jahr in der Community hier auf PP - die "Hebridenwochen", zu denen das hier ein verspäteter Beitrag ist, waren nur einer der Höhepunkte für mich.
Andererseits auch ein "Rückblick" in der Entstehungsgeschichte. Nach der hier schon ausgiebig gezeigten Wanderung auf North Harris hatten wir noch etwas Zeit, um zum Strand von Luskentyre zu fahren. Auf dem Weg faszinierte mich der Blick hinüber zur Isle of Skye. Schnell angehalten und die Kamera herausgeholt, um verärgert festzustellen, daß der nächste Schauer da war und die Sicht eintrübte. Als ich mich umdrehte, sah ich, was der Schauer sonst noch Feines zauberte.

Mit diesem Bild möchte ich dann auch allen hier ein erfreuliches und erlebnisreiches Jahr 2020 und viel gemeinsamen Spaß hier auf PP wünschen!

Yesterday I didn't get the chance to show this, now the end-of-year panorama has to serve as a New Year's greeting. A look back in a double sense: On the one hand to an always lively and interesting year in the community here on PP - the "Hebrides Weeks", to which this is a belated contribution, were only one of the highlights for me.
On the other hand also a "look behind" in the origination of the picture. After our hike on North Harris, which is already shown here extensively, we had some time left to drive to the beach of Luskentyre. On the way I was fascinated by the view over to the Isle of Skye. Quickly we stopped and I took out the camera to annoyedly realize that the next shower was there and the view became obscured. When I turned around, I saw that the shower had more to offer.

With this picture I would like to wish everyone here a happy and eventful year 2020 and lots of fun together here on PP!
