On Sep 20th 2019 an X-Summit (Fujifilm X systems) was held at Shibuya Tokyo which I watched - remotely ! :-)
Then I remembered that I visited this place last year and thought to show it on p-p. I guess everybody once had seen that spectacular scene where people are crossing a street junction in Tokyo from 5 different directions. Back then and for my amusement I tried it several times myself and noticed that nobody gets hurt ;-). What is also amazing is the fact that car drivers are very reasonable to stop where it is indicated to do so... Shibuya is definitely a place for street-photography and not so suitable for panoramic pictures. The version I'm showing here has indeed an angle of 180° in width. The ratio is 2:1. A perfect size for a 500pixel presentation ... just kidding. This one is a little bigger: https://photos.smugmug.com/Panoramic-Views/i-gpxGGCX/0/e8059642/X4/Shibuya-X4.jpg or for download: https://hjbayer.smugmug.com/organize/Panoramic-Views/i-gpxGGCX Fujifilm X-T2 with Samyang 12mm/18mm - shots taken in portrait mode. |
