SOLVED RIDDLE.
The Lakes of Fusine (Weißenfelser Seen in German) consist of two lakes, Lake Superior and Lake Inferiore, located on the territory of the municipality of Tarvisio. Its altitude is not very high (929 meters), but it is one of the coldest areas in Italy.
The Slovenian border is about 2 km and the Austrian border about 5 km.
