I am in Slovenia, a short distance from the Italian border. In this area during the First World War they fought fiercely Italians against Austrians. But now I am walking on the so-called "Walk of Peace".

Cheers, Hans-Jörg
I'm glad that we have a path of peace today.
Now, but only recently, you can walk quietly. Let's hope it lasts.
As a matter of fact I always was a fan of the idea, to hold Olympic Winter Games in the area between Villach, Kranjska Gora and Tarviso.
You could hardly find a place more European.
Divided by languague and connected by culture.
And I fully agree with you, Giuseppe: It is a gift to be able to walk there now and not a century ago.
LG Jörg
