SOLVED RIDDLE.
The Gorizia Hills (Collio Goriziano or Collio) is a hilly microregion between northeastern Italy and western Slovenia. I recommend to visit it, especially if you like wine ;-)

Ciao, Alvise
The building at the bottom of the valley is a castle, built in 13th century. Today it's a very good restaurant....
@Giuseppe: Great foto, shot in a magnificent moment!!!
It is, as Alvise said, in northeastern Italy.
But where exactly?
So I solve: The building at the bottom of the valley is the Castello di Trussio, Dolegna del Collio, Provincia di Gorizia. The castle was mentioned for the first time in 1257, today there is a noble restaurant in it.
Tanti saluti dalla Foresta Nera
Hans-Jörg
