Did you ever see a chaotic fireworks like this going on for at least an hour? I felt very uneasy to open the window and photograph this pano as the skyrockets flew all around and exploded with very loud bangs.
Although it certainly was impressive, I think this random fireworks should be totally forbidden, not only for peoples own safety but also because it traumatizes animals and pollutes the environment with a lot of smoke, fine dust and all kinds of poisonous heavy metals.
Next day, nearly all seabirds were gone…. Do people really care about the environment or are they only interested in stupid, ill-considered, euphoric acts? Unfortunately it is the latter because this madness gets bigger and bigger every year.
