I heard no bang but all of the sudden the sky colored orange with flames a 100 m high. So now I know how an inferno looks like. But all this was only an illusion...

Die Illusion wirkt spektakulär. Irritierend hingegen ist das starke Farbrauschen, das besonders im linken Bildteil sehr dominant ist.

@ Friedemann, how I have to do that? I change to JPEG in preview Apple from a TiFF reduced to 500 px. The JPEG quality at max is always too big for this site and the slightest lowering of the slider immediately results in much smaller file. However when I downsize from a big JPEG file, then the file size always is much higher.

Mentor, I scale TIFF with IrfanView and reduce the JPEG-quality until I come just below the allowed size. For example: Pano 22125 "Kipphorn am Morgen" TIFF 228105 Kb, 33645*2314 pixel. Upload JPEG 1924 Kb, 7244*500 pixel. The JPEG-quality was 98%.

@Friedemann, but Irfanview doesn't work with Mac os. By the way I upgraded to mac os high Sierra this weekend and unfortunately PTGuiPro already crashed with a new pano.
