The "Szent Teréz-kápolna", near the village Tarcal in the middle of the famous Tokaj-Hegyalja wine district, is a beautiful place of silence.
The chapel was built in 1749-50 by Count Grassalkovich Antal, master of Drese Gottfried, who was reigned by Mary Teresa for gratitude. The chapel was devoted to St. Teresa. The building has an oval ground plan, with a spherical arch on its facade, a low tower, and a small wooden staircase on the beam-shaped canopy above the entrance. The chapel was completely refurbished in the second half of 2015. To the right of the chapel the last hills of the Zemplén mountains with Kopasz-hegy and his TV-tower ... and then finally the hungarian Puszta region, also known as Great Hungarian Plain or Great Alföld, begins ;-) ... Deine Ungarn-Impressionen reizen mich, selbst mal wieder etwas von meinem Besuch im letzten Jahr zu zeigen.
