Although it was hazy in the morning, I made a short pano to remember how the horizon looked like with the stranded mega container ship CSCL Jupiter (366 m long, 51 m wide, 155480 tonnes) 27 km away. This tele pano is about the maximum I can get with reasonable image quality with my Canon G1Xmark2 and I surely know that better equipment would have delivered a more exiting view but al least this remarkable situation has been documented from the highest location possible.
On the river one sees the anchored CMA CGM Tanya (300 m long, 48.2 m wide, 110501 tonnes) and to her left the cruise liner Braemar who first turned back to the sea and around noon got permission to sail to Antwerp, to please her guests undoubtly.
CanonG1Xmark2, 5 pics, 62.5 mm + extra digital lens making about 300 mm KB, iso 100, f 4.5, 1/1000 s, stitched with Hugin 72% of the height retained.
