Mit Absicht wähle ich diesen irreführenden Titel. Natürlich ist das Arnotal hier nicht wirklich in seiner Schönheit dargestellt. ABER - San Miniato als Burg-Platz der Deutschen Kaiser auf der so wichtigen Strecke nach Rom - da macht das Überblicken des Tales schon Sinn.

By purpose I do chose this stange title. I am well aware, that this view does not show much interesting details of the Arno valley, there are much better places to document THIS aspect of the landscape. But however I want to see this title in the context of the history of San Miniato as a stopover for the German Kaiser en route to Rome.

Traumhaft. Toskana-Idyll wie man sich das vorstellt. Die eher gedämpfte Farbgebung passt gut zum Motiv. Ich hoffe, Du wirst das noch etwas beschriften. VG Martin

Auch ich bin absolut begeistert von der Natürlichkeit der Farben und Deiner wie immer präzis-feinen Ausarbeitung - ein purer toskanischer Genuss, bei dem ich hoffe, dass Du mit diesem Werk den uns abhanden gekommenen Toskana-Fan Werner Sch. wieder auf die Plattform lockst ;-) ...

Ich sage es einmal ehrlich heraus ... in den nächsten Tagen eher nicht, da ich eine Übersiedlung vor mir habe und vermutlich einige Zeit privat off-Internet sein werde. Daher bitte - GEDULD. I have never been to San Miniato. It is very beautiful and interesting. Too bad the visibility was not better.
