Morning Impression from our Summer Vacation in/near the White Mountains in New Hampshire (New England). - According to Google Maps it should have only taken us 7 1/2 hours driving time to get here - hence much easier and more affordable for us than a vacation in the European Alps.

At 6288 feet nearby Mount Washington is the tallest US peak east of the Rocky Mountains.

Our summer wasn't the greatest, either, and these peaks are real mountains at least in the sense that they attract the clouds.
We never got to see Mount Washington, but still had a great time!

For fans of Alpine Skiing, it is worth noting that Bode Miller grew up here in Franconia.

Sehr schönes Bild Augustin, gefällt mir gut und würde mir noch besser gefallen wenn du rechts und links etwas früher schneiden würdest, damit die vielen Drähte nicht mehr sichtbar wären...

Auch ohne den Mount Washington ein sehr attraktiver Blick, besonders schön die dünnen Nebelschleier im Tal. LG Fried

zu New Hampshire fällt mir eigentlich immer nur John Irving ein, aber das hier ist landschaftlich wirklich nicht zu verachten.
