Almost a year ago, it looked like this...of course it looks more or less the same again now, so in lack of recent material I will try to release from the archive in about the same date as recorded.

This spot is not known as a viewpoint except for the local inhabitants, and that is a shame. The farthest view is considerable, more than 70 km, but that can only be seen in a teleshot, so I will do that another time. The unbroken view to the islands Sejerø and Nekselø, and the Vejrhøj hill is what makes this an exceptional viewpoint. The viewpoint is part of the Røsnæs peninsula, which is an end-moraine.

The pano was made in the field, so normally one cannot do panos, unless one hits the short window between harvest and recultivating.

iso100, f/10, 1/400s, 50 mm, 20 pics (RAW), developed in DPP (daylight, moderate sharpness, ALO off), a little contrast and colour adjustment, and downscaling in GIMP, one more downscaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

Very nice Jan - the pano is so crisp and clear and looks as if you are allowed to use some more pixels in height. But now the most important question .. who owns that candy-coloured vehicle :-) ?

Thank you...yes, my car, even with an accidental sonnenstern :-) I was a little indecisive regarding the schnitt, because I also wanted the tiefblick. So more sky can only come by less bottom. I will consider it, but don't have time today. LG Jan.

I think the Gründe (Vorder-, Mittel-, Hintergrund) are very well balanced, no need for a change. The news about the sun-ray reflecting red racer was THE necessary information addon to make this mountain-less enjoyable picture perfect.

Regarding the Gründe I would like to cite Robert Gernardt; I just came across these lines in
R. Gernhardt, Toscana mia; Fischer 2011

A reader, strange to both languages, could think, the danish word 'hyggelig' and the german word 'hügelig' will mean the same thing. Of course he´s wrong, but to your panorama both words are fitting.
