I am a fan of the south and your photo brings me with the memory to totally different latitudes (www.panoramio.com/photo/77280553).
According to my experience, when such an incredible view receives limited consideration, this *may be* because people have some hidden suspicion, which in this case, I guess, could lie in the horizon which *appears* somewhat skew.
Well understood, this could also be the geographical truth - we have the luck to live in a world which is not flat!

Yes, the horizon appears somewhat skewed... I had not taken my ''big'' tripod to take the 15 pictures and as usual (for me!) I tend to deviate up when subject come closer.
So I’ll will check the lens correction and straighten out the picture (but no fake or alteration :)
@Christian: I also have vertigo but this day the view was so incredible that I forgot my phobia ;)
