Pano extreme, from very long distance. The Monte Grappa is a mountain in the Alps that allows you to see almost the entire eastern Po Valley and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The peak identified the farthest is the Alpe della Luna, 248km. To give an idea of the distance, we're close to the border between Romagna, Tuscany and Marche.
The mountains of the Apennines are shown in white, the mountains of the Alps are shown in black. There are 7 photos; 70mm (full format), f4; 1/320sec.; ISO 200; with tripod. |

I am not able, at the moment, to identify the other peaks of the Apennines, and it will take me a long time.
So it should be possible to view nearly the complete arc of the Alps from Monte Cimone or Monte Cusna?
From Monte Cimone you can see also all the Italian Alps. But I've never been.
Obviously you need exceptional clarity, something that is very rare.
And the Alps from the Apennines can be seen small and from very far away. To see them well you need a powerful telephoto lens.
From Monte Cimone maybe you can see the Istria, but is best seen Corsica :-).
Considerando che dal Laione, una delle cime in fondo a destra (subito a lato del Blumone), io ho fotografato il Cervino (N.36917 di Alpen Panoramen), la fantasia vola ancora di piú!
