Since I cannot supply panoramas from the Maja Jezercës, highest summit of the Prokletije, because I had thick fog on it, let me show the group of lakes that one finds on the way to it.
The concrete "bunker" visible in the lower section is the place where I slept the night. I guess that it was built for the border police, but nowadays sardine and beer cans reveal that it is used occasionally by local shepherds. Although the path starts from the Ropojanski Zastan in Montenegro (a big building which belonged to the border police as well, and now is rent to shepherds), at the lakes we are already fully in Albanian territory, since the state border does not follow the watershed.

Kind regards Christoph
Unfortunately now I just reached the "plenum" for this week... As a consolation prize, we are left with these peaceful lakes, where the traveller, troubled by heavy topographical questions, finds comforts ( picasaweb.google.com/albertopedrotti/Balcani_2#5920089621756682450 ) which he could not even imagine few hundreds of metres above ( www.panoramio.com/photo/95840814 )!!
P.S.: I see that I have a backup of the accompanying text, so I can propose the comparison again one day... Meanwhile, «für Kenner und Liebhaber» the object remains available on Panoramio: www.panoramio.com/photo/97106385
