The Claerwen reservoir and dam in Powys, Wales, were built to provide water to satisfy the needs of the increasingly demanding city of Birmingham. Completed in 1952 the constructed mainly of concrete, the exterior of the 355m long dam is faced in local stone to harmonize with other older dams nearby. Masonry work was carried out by 100 Italian stonemasons. It took six years to complete the 60m high dam which retains 48,300 million litres of water.

I also think it is a great motif, but I can very clearly see the structures from sharpening...Can you do something about that? LG Jan.

I like this presentation of the landscape. But I also agree with Jan - a little bit more sharpness and the image would be better. By the way, don't forget to clean the sensor ;-)

Very nice the reservoir "made in Italy", but I like even more the underlying valley.
