This hill is a part of the end-moraine, that constitutes the Røsnæs-peninsula. A 180 degrees view is possibly, but I was at work, on a walk with the kindergarden, so I only got time to shoot 2 views with my 300 mm. I have a 50 mm overviewpano from may, but I think I will wait a little with that one.

In this pano, the most important features are the former bay of Saltbæk Vig, now a brackish lake behind a dam, the island of Nekselø with its steep slopes to the sea, and the hill of Vejrhøj. You can read about Nekselø and Vejrhøj at pano #9558. The view isn't all clear, but good enough to see what's around here.

The pano was made from 20 pics (RAW), developed in DPP (Neutral). For the first time I have tried a "custom-made" colourtemperature, but I have forgotten how much:-(. I think it was about 6000 K. Stitched with PTgui, levels from 1,00 to 0,80 in GIMP, rescaling and sharpening in IrfanView.

300 mm handheld, iso-200, f/7,1, 1/800 sec.

A bit too hazy, but a very nice winter mood! Well presented.

Great capture of the winter light. Given that there is so much that can be improved (and equally much to be messed up) in RAW development, really good work! Cheers, Martin

REMAKE
Thank you for your nice comments. However, after a few days the overall impression was a little too bright and "hard" for me (I am always indecisive). I have reworked it and tried to get a more soft quality. Therefore not so bright as before, and with levels in GIMP I moved from 1.00 to 0.80 (don't know what it is called). In december and january the sun is so low, and the light is always soft. I think it is more realistic now.

The old version is on my testsite, #10164. Greetings, Jan.
