On the road Broadford-Elgol, near the ruined church at Cill Chriosd lies shallow, reed-filled Loch Cill Chriosd.
Loch Cill Chriosd in gaelic means Lake of Christ’s Church and I think it's quite a poetic image.
The legend was told that an evil spirit dwelt in the loch, and this spirit poisoned the waters so that anyone bathing in the loch or drinking the water would die.
Legends aside, the place is very interesting and the hills in the background are the Red Hills.
It was also the discrete weather single day that I found. In Scotland the next day came the Hurricane Katie.

Martin, I love Scotland, but I had never been to Skye. Seeing your beautiful photos of Skye, I wanted to visit. Unfortunately, I could not do any hiking due to bad weather. I think to come back in June.
