Details

Location: Kendal Castle (80 m)      by: Matthias Stoffels
Area: United Kingdom      Date: 11.08.2017
Kendal is the southeastern gateway to the Lake District. Because most of the city's buildings were constructed with the local pale grey Carboniferous Great Scar Limestone, the city is also known as the 'Auld Grey Town'. On a cloudy day like this, this impression is even more intensified.

Technical details: 10 landscape shots (w/o tripod) with Canon EOS 100D@Sigma 18-250mm F3,5-6,3 DC Makro OS HSM (f=30 mm, k=f/8, tv=1/80s, ISO 100), RAW development with darktable 2.4.0, stitching with Hugin-2018.0.0, scaling with ImageMagick (Lanczos2Sharp and blur mask)

Sehr authentisches Pano.
