So, here it is - the brightest summernight in Denmark. After the short stop at the edge of the cliff of Gilbjerghoved, I wanted to enjoy the lowpoint of the summernight brightness on a location with a "stitchable" northern horizon and as much view to Sweden as possible, but also as elevated in the landscape as possible. I made panos from here in 2013 also, but unfortunately the trees had grown a bit since then, and are now even more obsuring...This is still an awesome viewpoint, so it was still a fantastic experience. On this location the 56 degrees northern latitude is exeeded, and from a north-south perspective very central in Denmark.

On this date and location the sunset was at 22:01, and the following sunrise was at 04:23. The sun was at straight north at 01:12. With the pano being from 01:14, it was 3h 13m after sunset, and 3h 9m before sunrise. It was 2m from the suns lowest culmination in the nightsky. At this time, the sun was 10 degrees under the horizon.

To the best of my judgement on site, and from my memory and experience of the subject, this is a very realistic presentation, both in terms of colours and brightness.

Pano made from 7 pics (RAW), Canon 6D, 50mm, iso-800, f/4, 2,5 sec, developed in DPP (cloudy, neutral, periphal illumination, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, downscaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

@Mentor, I think this is cirrus clouds, but I am not absolutely sure. They can also be illuminated, as can jet streams from aeroplanes, at this time and date. True NLC's are finer structured, I think. LG Jan.
