A minor stop in the series...this view is well known to the drivers on the freeway near Copenhagen. It is however not an easy location. There is actually a path to the holm, but at sealevel, and not with an open view. One must therefore - perhaps even illegal - try to ascent the almost vertical slope of the motorway foundation, and enjoy the view between the trees. The open view of the motorway is of course off limits...I wanted to make this anyway, because it is not easy to get a similar view in the direction of Copenhagen with the water in front.

Sunset on this date and location was 21:56, and at the time of the pano, the sun was 6 degrees under the horizon. So still in the civil twilight zone.

The pano was made from 7 pics (RAW), 70-200mm@70mm, Canon 6D, tripod, iso-400, f/4, 1/10 sec, developed in DPP (5000K, neutral, periphal illumination, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, contrast, downscaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

Heinz, again I am happy with your interest in the subject. But yes, at this time this is quite accurately what one sees. You can tell that it is not an overly brightened pano in that there are no stars visible. Had it been darker, and I tried to boost a darker nightsky, there would have been stars in the pano.

About the twilight, as you say, it has no deeper meening, other than an indication of how bright the nightsky is. As the series will show, the night is not completely dark, but also not bright as daylight, and therefore helps explaing the intermediate caracter of a danish summernight.

Outstanding mood ... intuitive thought: the framing is not absolutely necessary !?! LG Hans-Jörg

@Hans-Jörg: Perhaps not, but I like to see why it starts and ends at the given ponts. LG Jan.
