Location: Terneuzen Waterfront (70 m)      by: Mentor Depret
Area: Netherlands      Date: 2017 12 18 5:04 PMwt
An exceptional sunset resembling a red aurora above peculiar mushroom clouds. Not very often seen before.
The pano should be viewed with a dark background to see the subtle red glow, just like auroras.

Canon Eos M6 with EF-M 11-22 mm, 8 pics, 20 mm (32 mm KB), iso 125, f 5.6, 1/60 s, PTGuiPro without vignetting correction, 14606x3802 px 223.2 MB TIFF, cropped to h=3567 px, downsized 2047x500 px 827 KB JPEG.

Although the location is well known now, each picture looks different. This is again a great one!

I don't travel (yet) so I try to show the many interesting aspects offered by this location. Thx for the comment Jens, certainly from a photographer like you.

It amazes me that the contrails end so abruptly at the diverging cloud veil.
