On the way to Laguna Torre, at a rather late hour...
I had left El Chaltén at sunset, not before looking for a headlamp as a replacement of the one which I had forgotten in some hostel already in Puerto Madryn.
Due to the very high importation taxes that there are in Argentina, summing up with the inherently high prices of El Chaltén, a Petzl here may cost three times as in Europe. The only alternative was a basic 12-LED device made in China, sold at the bazaar of a Peruvian woman. At the first trial outside the shop, the LEDS had already dropped to 11.5, since one was already showing an intermittent behaviour. When I complained with the woman, she answered very positively "Don't worry, there will be a wonderful fullmoon tonight".
This is precisely the subject of the present panorama.

Wonderful story - fascinating humor of the Peruvian woman ;-)) !!! And of course a great motif, even if the foreground isn't very sharp.

It's nice looking of course, but it's not really my taste of a full moon light.
A moonlight-pano should differ by a daylight-pano, thats my opinion inbetween.
The motiv is very suitable for it with all the glaciers and snow.

HJBäu: consider that we are in Patagonia, and it is difficult to expect the branches to remain immobile for 30 seconds, even in the privileged it-never-rains climate that I enjoyed...

Steffen: if you look at the shooting parameters that now I added, you will recognize the precise plan to use the moon like an alternative lighting source.

Not by chance, this has ISO 400 and 15 sec.

Alberto, the AP 24067 fit's my taste more. But there is no rule how to do it fortunatly, my taste can be wrong.
