Die Polarlicht Vorhersagen waren am 27-28.03 besonders gut. (KP5-KP6)
Kleinere Sonnenstürme waren auf dem Weg zur Erde und die hellen Lichter waren in allen Formen und Farben am Sternenhimmel zu sehen.
Die Lichter bewegten sich in Island besonders schnell und die Schwierigkeit lag sie in einem Panorama fest zu halten.

Absolut traumhaft ! Wären irgendwelche Türme / Masten zu sehen gewesen, dann wäre das stitchen sicher noch problematischer gewesen. Ich habe jedenfalls bisher keine Probleme entdecken können.
Mich hat der K-Index am 27.03. auch aufgeschreckt und ich bin zur Mitternacht ins Erzgebirge an eine Stelle mit guter Nordsicht und wenig Lichtverschmutzung gefahren. Leider war ich ca. 2h zu spät, denn zu dieser Zeit wurde die Aurora südlich von Berlin fotografisch deutlich nachgewiesen.

... a quanto pare l'inizio anno all'estremo nord è per te una costante!! Complimenti per le aurore boreali. Una domanda tecnica: se non sbaglio i giochi di luce sono in costante movimento; come fai a "congelarli" in queste straordinarie composizioni nonostante i lunghi tempi di esposizione?

Ciao Alvise, hai proprio ragione. La difficoltá é che devi essere molto veloce, perché entro qualche minuto cambia tutta la situazione. In Islandia ho notato che le luci si muovevano molto veloci, ma penso che dipende dal valore kp. É sempre molto impressionante vedere l aurora borealis. (-:

Really interesting to see northern lights from this location on this particular date, because it was visible in Denmark too. Not this spectacular, but on dark locations clearly visible to the naked eye. I also got lucky this evening, so it could be interesting to know the exact time of day for the photos. BR Jan.
