Area: United Kingdom      Date: 14.07.2012
Panorama taken from the long distance path "Cateran Trail", just leaving Spittal of Glenshee and heading towards Kirkmichael; looking back.

I had to shoot the pictures fast, because of the rain, hence didn't check my settings. F4.5 turned out too low as it affected the depth of field.

I used Hugin for stitching 2 landscape oriented photos.

Welcome to PP. As you may know, I like this area - happy to see more. To receive more responses, please add a little bit or description, both of what we see and technical. The sharpening after scaling to 500Px is also delicate - many of us use IrfanView for good results. Cheers, Martin

Thanks Martin. I will post some more panoramas of the Highlands in the near future (currently working on a 360 dergee summitpanorama of Glas Tulaichean).
By the way, Irfan rocks! I like its easy batch operations.
