SOLVED RIDDLE.

Cabo de São Vicente (Cape St. Vincent) is the southwesternmost point in Portugal and therefore the southwesternmost point of continental Europe.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabo_de_S%C3%A3o_Vicente

It was called the "Promontorium Sacrum" (Sacred Promontory) by the ancient Romans. Its cliffs rise nearly vertically from the Atlantic to a height of 75 meters. It is a very charming place and it is customary to see the sunset on its cliffs.
The main problem of pano was to avoid framing in the foreground all the spectators of the sunset :-)

I haven't got a clue, but perhaps the description ("special") is a give-away...Cabo di Roca? KR Jan.

Thanks for the answers. It is not Cabo da Roca.

I think Jan was already close to it. Cape St. Vincent I guess.

I agree with Jörg, this should be Cabo de Sao Vicente.

Yes, Jan was already close enough and Jens there was probably already been.

Yes, I have been there, but not for sunset. I remember that it was not easy to find a good panorama spot there. Did you also eat the "Letzte Bratwurst vor Amerika"? :)

@Jens: No, I did not eat the "Letzte Bratwurst vor Amerika" :)
I generally follow a rule: when I go to a place I eat the food they eat in that place. The national dish of Portugal is the fish and especially the "Bacalhau" (salted cod), cooked in so many ways. The "bacalhau" perhaps is not a elegant food, but I like it very much and so I ate a lot :)
