Da gerade auf "Heimaturlaub" ein kleiner Ausflug mit Sohn.

Die ursprüngliche Höhe des Turms vor 2005 war 1,75m niedriger. Mit neuer Spitze (wegen einer neuen DVB-T Antenne) nun besagte Höhe. Man arbeitet sich sozusagen an die 300m heran.

Vielleicht verschiebe ich es später mal auf Panoramio, lässt es sich dort ohne Verrenkung betrachten.

A very interesting portrait for me. In Denmark we use stahlgitter constructions, so they don't stand out much in the landscape. When coming to Germany, one of the "funny little differnces" are massive towers in different shapes across the landscape.

Also nearby one can see how it has been build up in stages using Schalung (that's the word, isn't it?) LG Jan.

That is right Jan. There are many different kind of "Schalungsbaue" possible.
I think they used a process what is called "Gleitschalung" where in a continuous process of filling the "Schalung" with concrete, it got continuously lifted. The tower got built in a 24/7 shift - very tricky I guess as no stop is/was possible. Or maybe "Kletterschalung".

Das eiPad oder ähnliches waagrecht halten, die Kippsperre einschalten, 90° drehen und rauf und runter scrollen, dann nur noch die Finger- bzw. Unter/Oberarmmuskulatur beanspruchen ! :-D

Perfekt gemacht! Schönes Gegenbild zum Stahlturm des Herrn Eiffel.
Zur Betrachtungstechnik: Bildschirm drehen und dabei weder fallen lassen noch den Kabelsalat so beanspruchen, dass der Rechner umfällt :-)

Sehr gut, egal ob verrenkt oder nicht. Mich beschäftigt hier auch der Pixeleffekt der Schärfungskante am Turmrand - mit IV wohl unvermeidbar bei solchen Motiven. VG Martin
